Gil Bruvel's visionary style grew out of the dream of making intuitive art. His work emphasizes the imaginative aspects of mind and body. His work seeks to examine the mutable nature of identity (as manifested in masks, faces, costumes, shapes etc.) in order to understand the ways in which individuals perceive and represent themselves to the world. A great deal of attention has gone into the look of Timeless Travelers with its richly colored imagery. The title on the cover is debossed in silver-metallic ink as well as spot varnishing on the front and back, there are silver-metallic endpapers, and aubergine-metallic ink is used in the introduction.
