Description
The legendary series started by Fawcett, then taken over by Charlton Comics with #15. For the first time ever collect 7 Facsimile Editions in one premium Slipcase! Includes Steve Ditko's earliest stories in comics and several of his wildest, most collectible covers -- #17 & 18 are almost entirely by Ditko, cover to cover. Plus injury to the eye motif, a blood drainage story, a blatant EC swipe from Haunt of Fear #5. Artwork by Sheldon Moldoff, Joe Shuster, Bob Powell, Dick Giordano, the excellent Robert McCarty, and Bill Molno. With over 200 pages of nightmares... Note: The numbering between this and the next volume can be confusing. Charlton took the title over with #15 and published it to #21, the last pre-code issue, in November 1954. Then they restarted the title in 1957, with Vol 2 #12, which ran through #16. These Volume 2 stories are collected in the 4th and final slipcased set in this series. Thus the overlapping numbers.
