Description
Every major violent event—natural or man-made—is observed and logged. Tornadoes. Wars. Hurricanes. Earthquakes. Volcanoes. Riots. Floods. All are ranked and cataloged by the lone occupant of a remote lunar observation station: Cal Ferris. After 5,840 identical days, the arrival of a mysterious stranger sends the isolated astronaut hurtling into a cosmic exploration of loss, love, and empathy—a rediscovery of his own humanity, in what could be humanity’s final hour. Author/Artist Karl Slominski is an American comic book creator known for his bold, expressive visual style and creator-driven storytelling. A graduate of the Kubert School of Cartooning and Graphic Art, he trained under legendary figures including Joe Kubert himself. Slominski began his career in freelance illustration but soon shifted focus to self-directed projects that reflected his personal voice and artistic energy. This one has a great look and feel and would be right at home in the pages of Metal Hurlant or Heavy Metal!
