This handcrafted set, authorized by ERB Inc. and produced in the U.S.A., includes for the first time in print, three separate ERB hardbacks with original dust jacket and endpaper paintings. Each volume in The Land That Time Forgot Trilogy set is printed on archival paper, Smythe-sewn, bound in an Arbor Green Spanish Flanders grain leather and double stamped in gold. The set is housed, with a collector's portfolio, in a decorated matching leather clamshell case and is limited to 548 sets. The set includes: Volume 1: The Land That Time Forgot Volume 2: The People That Time Forgot Volume 3: Out of Time's Abyss This is the sixth matching set in the “New World” series launched in 2020 with Burroughs' A Princess of Mars. Each set celebrates the first appearance of one of ERB’s newly created realms filled with strange kingdoms, cultures and creatures. In addition, this trilogy set commemorates the 150th anniversary of the birth of the author, Edgar Rice Burroughs. Each volume in the set is unique with its own book cover design, illustrated endpapers, frontispiece and title pages. The Land That Time Forgot Trilogy will feature over 100 illustrations, including 20+ tipped-in color plates. More than 75 of the illustrations were commissioned for this edition and have not been previously published. The trilogy is illustrated by an incredible array of ERB artists including Mark Shultz, William Stout, Bob Eggleton, Sanjulian, Mark Wheatley, Thomas Yeates, Daren Bader, Doug Klauba, Jamie Chase, Richard Hescox, Mike Hoffman, Joe Jusko, J. Allen St. John, Frank Frazetta and Roy Krenkel. This one-of-a-kind, limited edition numbered set comes signed by the contributors. The set's unique case not only houses the books themselves, but a vintage-style collector's portfolio featuring one-of-a-kind curated items including pulp, book and paperback advertising standees, ERB notebook pages and correspondence, 35mm film slides from The People That Time Forgot and numerous 11" x 17" reproductions of some of the best pieces of art from the book.
