This is a set of six volumes of The Complete Terry and the Pirates by Milton Caniff which includes Volume #1-6. Volume One contains more than 800 consecutive strips, from the series' beginning in October 1934 through the end of 1936. Volume Two includes 1937 to 1938. Volume Three includes 1939-1940. Volume Four includes 1941 to 1942. Volume Five includes 1943-1944. Volume Six includes 1945-1946. The Sunday pages are reproduced in their original color, alongside the daily black-and-white strips.

Volume 1: This book introduces young Terry Lee, his adult pal Pat Ryan, their sidekick Connie, as well as an array of unforgettable brigands such as Captains Judas and Blaze, and the two toughest women to ever sail on the China Seas: the alluring Burma and the inimitable Dragon Lady. Volume 3: Featuring the villainous Sanjak, the outrageous Singh-Singh, and the mysterious Hu Shee, plus the return of Klang, Captain Blaze, and The Dragon Lady. This volume also introduces the pivotal characters Raven Sherman, Dude Hennick, and young April Kane, whose arrival in China turns Terry Lee's life upside down! Volume 4: In an October, 1941 storyline so powerful, creator Milton Caniff was forced to take to the radio airwaves to explain why he chose to shock the nation with the death of a major character. In the 1942 strips, the World War drives Terry Lee to join the military, where he meets nurse Taffy Tucker and Army flight instructor Flip Corkin, then gets into plenty of trouble investigating a spy ring! And then there's the women —the strong, beautiful and independent Caniff women..! Volume 5: In this fifth volume, Caniff brings battles in the Pacific to life, as old friends and foes cross paths with such major new characters as Terry's comrades-in-arms, Snake Tumblin and the inimitable Hotshot Charlie, new romantic interests Willow Belinda, Jane Allen, and Jane McGillicudy—and neither Madame Shoo-Shoo nor Captain Midi are exactly who they seem.
