It's primitive artwork, but this was the early days of the Golden Age. Also featuring K-51 Spies at War drawn by Bob Powell, Capt. Savage, Wing Turner. But the emphasis here is on BB by Charles Nicholas, Fox's longest running hero and in fact revived in the 1960s and even a 2023 film! He lasted into the 1950s, was taken over by Charlton and revived a few years later in the 60s, and even DC got involved. His first appearance was in Mystery Men #1, 1939, but he proved popular enough to win his own title here. Dan Garrett gained his superpowers with a special vitamin, but later a rewrite of history had them given to him from a "sacred scarab." He even made it into a radio serial.
