30 years of dark, mystical, and mysterious work collected for the first time. Introduction by award-winning horror writer and longtime collaborator Christopher Golden! Bergting’s repertoire of fantasy, horror, and sci-fi illustrations include comics, magazines, novels, and games, and he’s worked in collaboration with creative giants like Mike Mignola. This is an impressive, top notch collection of fine fantasy artwork, including the likes of Hellboy and more work for Dark Horse and other publishers. From Lambiek: Peter Bergting is a comic artist from Stockholm, Sweden, who is best known in Sweden for his fantasy artwork, but has also made notable contributions to US comics. He grew up reading popular European comics like Lucky Luke and Astérix, but especially artists like Mézières, Giraud, Eisner, Mignola and Alcala influenced his artwork. He published his first drawings in RPG magazines and had his first comic, The Portent, published by Image Comics in the USA. He was subsequently responsible for the complete artwork for four issues of Image's Strange Girl and has drawn Dark Sun for IDW. Bergting made his mark in France as the artist of the second book in the Sylvain Runberg series "Agence Interpol" in 2012. Bergting also created the cover illustration for the Swedish edition of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
