An anthology of all new stories based on the many popular creations of legendary Japanese mangaka Osamu Tezuka, illustrated by some of the greatest comic creators in Europe. Each artist is profiled AND interviewed about their connection with Tezuka's work. This larger 300-page softcover edition is presented in traditional manga reading order, right to left. This first volume includes "The Mouse" by Sourya, based on Ayako; "The Moon Rabbit" by Brice Cossu and Valerie Mangin, based on Buddha; "The Cursed" by Mathieu Bablet, based on Metropolis & much more. Some adult situations. Work ranges from lighter cartoonish to deadly serious, but most of the stories are serious action, fantasy and adventure works. Artwork is generally very good, detailed and powerful storytelling.
