This comprehensive series remedies a gap in comics history, bringing back all the Superman daily strips--among the character's rarest collectibles. The creative torch is passed to writer Alvin Schwartz and artist Wayne Boring, done while Siegel and Shuster were still responsible for the strip and were running their Studio--prior to leaving DC in 1948. Wayne Boring would became THE Superman comics artist circa 1948-60, until Curt Swan came along.
