Buscema penciled every issue from #1 to #17, and we are talking double-sized issues through #7. Inks were from Dan Adkins, Gene Colan, and Paul Reinman. SS #4 is considered low circulation. This was the iconic issue with Thor and Loki, and the cover is a masterpiece, the Silver meeting Thor. Villains include Mephisto, Frankenstein. Guest appearances from the Stranger, The Fantastic Four, The Human Torch, Nick Fury, The Inhumans and Spider-Man. Collects the entire first Silver Surfer series #1-18; material from Fantastic Four Annual #5, 1967 and Not Brand Echh #13, 1968-70.
