SHERLOCK A Scandal in Belgravia Boxed Set

Starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman as the titular character and the iconic John Watson, Sherlock captured the imagination of TV audiences with its modern reinterpretation of the world-famous detective. Now the series undergoes another contemporary twist in this manga adaptation of the fourth episode, A Scandal in Belgravia. Sherlock is called to save the royal family from blackmail at the hands of Irene Adler (Lara Pulver), the dominatrix known as "The Woman". But international security is not the only thing compromised, when Sherlock’s icy heart has been melted by Adler’s charm…Quite well drawn. Split across two volumes to allow emotive and expressive storytelling, these are newly translated and read from the back forward as they were were first created for the Japanese market. The bonus cards feature smaller, slightly altered versions of the two front covers. I like the look of this, and of course am among the ardent fans of the television series.
