We allowed Lou's first book to slip away, but we just now discovered it's been reprinted at a new lower price, so we'll have it available again very shortly, if not already as you read this. Lou Mougin, who passed away in January 2023, is perhaps best remembered for his extensive comic book character histories in the 1980s in the pages of the comic book magazine, Amazing Heroes, during a period where there were sparse references available for the histories of comic book characters. Mougin's research skills helped him play a role in the original Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe, and he later wrote for Marvel, as well as Heroic, Claypool, Warrant, Lucky and Charlton Arrow--including the origin of Swordsman.
