Description
For the first time ever, Skywald's famous, never printed magazine!! This would have been the first adult Sci-Fi comic since EC's Incredible Science Fiction, but the belief of the publishers, Sol Brodsky ("Sky", who was a long time Marvel production person) and Israel Waldman ("Wald"), that SF just didn't sell plus budgetary constraints, meant the magazine was withdrawn, although only after film had been made and just before delivery to the printers! The editor Al Hewetson managed to re-use all of the first issue's stories in the company's range of horror magazines, which is how they managed to piece together their original Science Fiction Odyssey. Alterations and assumptions were made, but hopefully, the finished result is fairly close to how it would have appeared over fifty years ago! Obviously this would have been directly competing with Warren's Creepy and Eerie -- but with the solo theme of sci-fi. The talent line-up here is incredible, from award-winning SF authors to the best of the new young turks in the comics world! 68 pages.
