ROCKET'S BLAST COMICCOLLECTOR #45-48 50-51 SPECIAL 7-8 Set of 8

Set of eight. Rocket's Blast Comiccollector (RBCC) began as a mimeographed and stapled fanzine in 1961. It was actually two fanzines published by Jerry Bales (The Comiccollector), and G.B. Love (Rocket's Blast). Both featured comics advertising and were created to bring fans together for the purpose of adding to their comic book collections. It also proved to be a launching pad for aspiring comic book creators, many of whom corresponded and exchanged their work through RBCC, and published work in the fanzine as amateurs. In 1964 the two fanzines merged (The Rocket's Blast and the Comicollector), continuing with the Rocket's Blast numbering (#29). With issue #51, the "and the" was dropped and with #58, the "RBCC" title became the norm. This set includes: #48-5-48, #50-51 & Specials #7-8. #50 was the last "stapled pages" issue. Special #7 features Fighting Hero Comics. Special #8 features Captain Marvel. Out of Print. Condition: Fine. Age related cover and edge wear. Some bumped corners. Some pencil writing inside.
