Description

The second issue of the dedicated Edgar Rice Burroughs magazine, RevERBerate, showcases the author's four Western tales, all of which were set in Arizona: The Bandit of Hell’s Bend, The War Chief, Apache Devil, and The Deputy Sheriff of Comanche County. Contributors for this issue include Patrick Quilter, Alan Hanson, author Gary A. Buckingham (Tarzan and the Lion of Judah), and RevERBerate publisher Scott Tracy Griffin (Tarzan: The Centennial Celebration [2012], Tarzan on Film [2016]). Griffin launched RevERBerate #2 at the Edgar Rice Burroughs Chain of Friendship (ECOF) gathering in Willcox, Arizona, on Friday, September 26, 2025. The following day, Griffin spoke at the unveiling of a monument to the author’s military service in the Seventh Cavalry, at Fort Grant, Arizona Territory (1886-87). The memorial plaque is mounted next to the historic train depot where Burroughs caught a stagecoach to Fort Grant on May 24, 1896. ECOF festivities commemorated the Sesquicentennial of Edgar Rice Burroughs’ September 1, 1875, birth. RevERBerate is printed on high-quality, glossy paper, and is perfect bound with cardstock covers.
