Description
This is a collection of cartoons featuring two British officers created by the artist Jon (John Philpin-Jones). The cartoons, which first appeared in the Eighth Army News in 1944, gained popularity for their satirical portrayal of military life and were syndicated to other publications like the Daily Express.
These cartoons were first published in 1991 and initially appeared in the Eighth Army News under the title Page Two Smile before being renamed The Two Types.
