Red leads his Falcon squadron through the battle of Stalingrad where he must defend the city from waves of Nazi Messerschmitts/ Shot down, Red and his fellow pilots become trapped behind enemy lines where they must survive one of the most terrible battles of the whole war. Excellent aerial battles and accuracy of planes. Garth Ennis is one of the finest in a small field of comics writers portraying action in wartime. His characterization is always top notch, and action is realistic, based on historical fact.
