JIM SILKE'S SKETCHBOOK Signed

Good girl artist Jim Silke mixes up a cocktail of finished pencil drawings, studies, and sketches. This gallery of beautiful women includes character designs, page layouts, and cover studies for comic book projects like Vampirella, Rascals in Paradise, and Bettie Page, Queen of the Nile. Includes a full color bookplate signed by Jim, that features "Young Mata Hari" for Jim's most recent work, his Mata Hari graphic novel. Jim passed away early this year after a very long and successful career. His work shows the influence of Dave Stevens, who was a close friend. He also worked with us on our 1996 book, Bettie Page: Queen of Hearts, which went through NINE printings!
