Another fine issue, this time with a classic Christmas cover (and lead story, both drawn with craft-tint) again by master Mac Raboy. From tiny publisher Spark, this features the adventures of Jethro Dumont, the mystical hero with Eastern-inspired powers. Regular back up features include Boy Champions, Rick Masters, Lieut. Hercules, Angus Mac Erc and more by a superior line-up of artists. Final issue. Raboy had already made his name drawing Captain Marvel Jr as well as stunning covers for Fawcett's titles including Master and Spy Smasher. Here he branched out to a new publisher with his own signature character, drawing covers and lead stories in every issue of the short-lived but superbly drawn series. Mac Raboy's signature art style and storytelling prowess continued to shine in this issue, making it a cherished gem in the Golden Age of comics.
