Not only are these comics fun to read and look at, but they offer a unique glimpse into a bygone era of wartime struggles and four-color patriotism. Author/Editor Howard L. Davis is a lifelong collector of comics and a passionate writer about their history. He donated much of his Golden Age comics collection to Columbia University where it is kept today. This volume represents some of his favorite stories and characters from the Golden Age era.
