This GIANT-sized 10" x 13" hardcover edition reprints the original Thun'da King of the Congo comic book by Frank Frazetta! This oversized edition not only presents the material with remastered vintage colors it also presents the entire comic in black-and-white to better appreciate Frazetta's fine line work! Also included are samples of the original Thun'da artwork, some reproduced at actual size! The reproduction of Frank's artwork has never been more faithful, down to the exact Ben Day color tones used in the original comic. Where necessary, off-register colors have been corrected, but other minor mistakes by the engravers have been maintained... only reproduced on better quality paper. Frank Frazetta was in his early 20s and already producing excellent artwork for various comic book publishers during the 1950s. And some of that work for Magazine Enterprises, the publisher of the original Thun'da comics, is also showcased.
