FOREPLAY SKETCHBOOK Volume 1 The Pin-Up Art of Lorenzo Sperlonga Signed

After five books dedicated mostly to acrylic paintings, Lorenzo Sperlonga decided to publish his first sketchbook. Foreplay is an 80-page oversized signed hardcover volume showcasing never seen before drawings and private commissions. Plus, there's a few sketch covers featuring favorite super heroines—sans clothing. There are depictions of full nudity here, occasionally explicit, so this one is definitely meant for Adults Only. Sperlonga took this opportunity during his "alternative creative process" to worked with new types of media, including charcoals, liquid graphite, inks, markers, pastels and techniques other than his typical media. He regrets that having to leave out many more pin-ups due to page constraints... so consider this the first chapter! Signed and featuring an introduction by the artist, this sketchbook collection features Bettie Page and other recognizable models, and is a welcome addition to our history of offering Sperlonga's previous volumes.
