Burne Hogarth is one of the most famous artists in the history of comic strips--right up there with Alex Raymond (Flash Gordon) and Hal Foster (Prince Valiant). In 1936 he took over from Foster on the massively popular Tarzan comic strip, and set a new standard for excitement. This is the first of five exclusive, oversized volumes that will collect Hogarth's entire run, beginning with Tarzan and the Golden City, May 1937, and continuing through six more adventures, to April, 1940.
