Johnny Hazard #1-4 presents Sunday adventure strips from 5-13-45 to 11-28-48 & 12-5-48 t0 5-22-49. Johnny Hazard was an action-adventure comic strip created by cartoonist Frank Robbins. The strip followed the globe-trotting adventures of aviator Johnny Hazard, initially as a member of the United States Army Air Corps in World War II, later as a Cold War secret agent.  Alley Oop #1-3 presents Daily adventure strips from 8/7/33 to 1/27/34 & 3/6/39 to 7/30/40. Alley Oop was an action fantasy strip created by cartoonist V.T. Hamlin. Alley Oop was a caveman but, he was also, a time traveler!! Buz Sawyer #1-3 presents Daily adventure strips from 8/29/45 to 7/15/47. Buz Sawyer was an action-adventure comic strip created by cartoonist Roy Crane. Buz was a Naval Aviator who flew in the Pacific theater during WW II, where he had numerous adventures with his sidekick, enlisted Naval Aircrewman Rosco Sweeney. As a civilian in the post-World War II years, Buz became an oil company troubleshooter, traveling to far-flung locales.
