Description

Cosey On the Trail of Peter Pan, Volumes 1 & 2, Complete Series. This series is not a conventional comic but is a very well-crafted work, consisting of a total of 116 comic pages divided into two volumes. This first volume includes a long preface about the people and fauna in the area where the story takes place. Set in 1930, the narrative revolves around the English author Melvin Z. Woodworth's rather unusual creation. This second volume begins with a two-page summary of the first volume.

One should settle in comfortably before embarking on the journey to Switzerland and following the trail of the character James M. Barrie first introduced in his book "The Little White Bird" from 1902. Following several revisions of his original idea, Barrie eventually created a beloved figure in the classic prose version "Peter Pan and Wendy," which was published in English in 1911 and in Danish in 1984.

The story has since been adapted into various media, and the name Walt Disney likely rings a bell for many people around the world. Now, Peter is placed in the heights of the Alps. And why not? As Cosey writes in his introduction: "It can be just as good as Kensington Gardens."

Text is in French. Out Of Print. Condition: Fine. Light edge wear and softly bumped corners. Volume 2 has small brown stains on the title page.
