Description

Illustrated Journal of The Romantic and Fantastic, #3rd issue, Volume 1 No 3 from February/March 2004,  is a oversize, square bound, on lush, heavy stock, and features extensive pieces by some of the greatest illustrators of today and of yesteryear.  Included is, "Theories and Substance, A Different Day", by James Owen. An in-depth look at Willian Stout ll, including sketches from his sketchbook, John Picacio, Bryn Barnar, and the amazing work of Eustace Paul Ziegler, the artist known as "Zieg".

More than a century ago, the premiere arts magazine being published was International Studio. It was the progenitor of Collier’s and Town & Country, and as much a society magazine (photos of Monet – in his garden!) as anything else. But then something called World War 11 happened, and this beautiful, oversize, lush magazine all but faded into near-obscurity. Out of Print. Condition: Fine Minus. Very light edge wear. Mark on front cover near bottom. Scuffs on back causing color lose.
