Description
The very first installment of noted collector/dealer/author/publisher Bruce Hershenson's indispensable film poster references, categorized by subject matter. From the 1911 French Vitagraph Windsor McCay: Le Dernier Cri des Dessins Animes through Ralph Bakshi's Fritz the Cat, it reproduces three hundred and ninety-three animated and cartoon-themed posters and lobby cards. Volume One contains reproductions of a high percentage of the cartoon posters that exited to the date of this publication. Yet most of these posters haven't been seen by the public since the days they showed in theaters; many of the major studios considered posters disposable advertising so they didn't bother to preserve them. Out of Print. Condition: Very Good Minus. Light cover and edge wear. Rip to spine at center with creases color lose & paper lose.
