Bringing Up Father ran for 87 years, from January 2, 1913, to May 28, 2000. The humor centers on an immigrant Irishman named Jiggs, who came into wealth in the United States by winning a million dollars in a sweepstakes. This book presents strips from 1919. Out of Print. Condition: Good Minus. Book has extensive wear including: Water stains to the bottom corner of the book at the spine throughout (See Gallery). Crushed corners on front and back of cover. Cover wear and scratches. Interior pages have been colored with crayons. There are amateur drawings on the back inside cover which include a heart, a flag, a skull & crossbones, a sword, a race car, and two people. Spine coming away from book at back page. Missing end pages front and back of book.
