Description

Lou Fine was one of the most impressive and influential artists to ever work in comics. His fluid figures were admired and copied by such greats as Joe Simon and Jack Kirby. In the early '40s heyday of the Golden Age, he worked for Everett M. "Busy" Arnold at Quality Comics along with such greats as Reed Crandall, Jack Cole and Will Eisner and, in addition to his impressive covers, he was the main artist on the Black Condor feature and also created The Ray. This volume features the Black Condor stories from Crack Comics #22-31, and Lou Fine's installments of The Ray, from issues #31-40. These two features stood out among the many serialized stories that appeared in the pages of Crack, thanks in large part to the talents of their artists, who were at the peak of their abilities.
