Originally published by small but above average quality Ace Comics, who also did The Beyond, Web of Mystery, Super-Mystery, and Four Favorites from the early 1940s to 1955. This collection features complete stand alone stories much like the classic Twilight Zone TV series, but of course with a bit more terror, blood and gore since this was before the Comics Code. Excellent artwork by Lou Cameron, who was doing some amazing work here, some of the finest in pre-code comics. Two bondage covers. Tune of the Zombie Queen, The Maze Monster, Valley of the Mayan Goddess, Ghost Chorus, Sculptures of Doom, Curse of the Condemned Gypsy, the Amulet of Terror, Over My Dead Body are just a few of the stories to be found here! Jim McLaughlin was a second stand-out artist here, a name forgotten now but an excellent artist who went on to do several iconic titles for Classics Illustrated. Printing is cover for cover as it was printed during the original years, complete with editorial and vintage advertising. Baffling ended with #26.
