He explains the use of visual tricks, wallpaper gags, swiping and comiccana dialect. There's tons of black and white illustrations and includes Walker's humorous, informative monologue which also includes a chapter on his own life called Who Asked You. Mori Walker,  was an American comic strip writer, best known for creating the newspaper comic strips Beetle Bailey in 1950 and Hi and Lois in 1954.
