Most stories center around World War II and fighting the Nazi menace. In number 8, Capt. Marvel Jr and Golden Arrow put in appearances, and Spy Smasher has a rare crossover in the Captain Midnight story. Plus fun ads, text stories, contents pages and more in these very special giant issues. Also art by Tom McNamara and Phil Bard. Dave Berg (best known for his years of work with Mad Magazine) and Pete Costanza (ACG artist in the 50s and 60s) may also have had a hand in the artwork here. The cover of #7, with Capt.
