Cartoons, as well as the television shows \u003cem\u003eTime for Beany\u003c\/em\u003e and \u003cem\u003eBeany and Cecil\u003c\/em\u003e.\n\nAfter dropping out of high school in 1931, he joined the team at Harman-Ising Productions and began working on the studio's newest short subjects, \u003cem\u003eLooney Tunes\u003c\/em\u003e and \u003cem\u003eMerrie Melodies\u003c\/em\u003e. Clampett was promoted to a directorial position in 1937, and during his 15 years at the studio, directed over 80 cartoons‚Äîmany later deemed classics‚Äîand designed some of the studio's most famous characters, including Porky Pig, Daffy Duck, and Tweety Bird.
