Forte was a regular in Stan Lee’s Atlas titles. Jack Cole is the stand-out creator here, creator of \u003cem\u003ePlastic Man\u003c\/em\u003e as well as girlie cartoons for \u003cem\u003ePlayboy\u003c\/em\u003e, but here doing horror as over the top as anything appearing in comics.\n\nFun stories include “Death Prowls the Streets,” “Valley of Horror,” “Killer from Beyond,” and “A Pact with the Devil” — all by Jack Cole.\n\nMore tales include “The Timepiece of Terror,” “Demon Inferno,” “The Shrunken Heads of Dr. Death,” “The Face from Hell,” “The Walking Dead” (really), “The Brain that Wouldn’t Die,” “The Subterranean Beast,” and of course, “Buried Alive.” This has been meticulously compiled from the original source material and painstakingly digitally restored.\n\nFirst done as a hardcover volume in 2015, which collected issues #8-14.
