The bonus issues are the original pre-Ditko \u003cem\u003eMysterious Traveler\u003c\/em\u003e #1 (from 1948) and the strange and bizarre pre-code title, \u003cem\u003eHorror from the Tomb\u003c\/em\u003e #1 (from 1954). Artists for these two issues: \u003cstrong\u003eBob Powell, Alan Mandel,\u003c\/strong\u003e \u003cstrong\u003eGeorge Woodbridge \u003c\/strong\u003eand \u003cstrong\u003eAngelo Torres\u003c\/strong\u003e (who together draw a great ghastly story in \u003cem\u003eHorror \u003c\/em\u003ewith a Frazetta feel).\n\nGeorge Woodbridge is a stand-out here, for his work on \u003cem\u003eHorror from the Tomb\u003c\/em\u003e. The cover of this comic is a fun one already, but George's story \"Grandma Gruesome’s Dead Time Story\" seems to be channeling Frazetta, Torres, and Al Williamson, including at least one or two swipes I can recognize. Nonethess, Woodbridge is another undeservedly forgotten talent, whose short era of work in comics in the 1950s deserves more attention.
