Belittled by private investigator Terry Dane, he continued fighting criminals as the Black Owl -- until he enlisted in the Army and handed down his costume to Walt Walters, the father of Yank and Doodle, who became the title feature a few issues later.\n\nBeginning with #7, the Owl was the cover feature of these issues.\n\n\u003cem\u003eI never expected to see this run collected; every one of these issues is scarce. I've been looking for a copy of S\u0026amp;K's first issue, #7,  for decades.
