Graphic art, in all its manifestations, was never alien to such an apologia.\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv\u003e\u003c\/div\u003e\n\u003cdiv class=\"synopsis-body\"\u003e\n\nPatriotic images conquered the new gaze of Mexican identity: the Vasconcelos and López Velarde ink on paper, walls, legend, and consciousness. At a time of nationalist concerns, linked to post-war Europe, the strong visual influence of Hollywood, and the American dream, the subjects result from the communion of Mexico with the world: an indigenous Olympus, celestial mysticism, a cry of war, homeland and people, eroticism and vanity, children-men of tomorrow-today, love, bullfights, collective songbook, immortal idyll, screen, and the pilgrimage of images.\u003cstrong\u003eDon Santiago Galas\u003c\/strong\u003e founded his graphic arts company at the dawn of the 20th century. He fulfilled the role -or the ink- of generating, as we can understand it today, a veritable encyclopedia of images. Under the premise that the customer gets what is painted, this phenomenon occurred.
