Gaines\u003c\/b\u003e, who was responsible for midwifing the birth of the comic book as we know it during his tenure at \u003ci\u003eAll-American Comics\u003c\/i\u003e, bringing the likes of \u003ci\u003eWonder Woman\u003c\/i\u003e and \u003ci\u003eGreen Lantern \u003c\/i\u003eto the world.
