In the 1990s Benes began to work for Marvel, where he did art for multiple comic book titles, including a Captain Marvel six-part miniseries.\n\nHe later moved to DC Comics, where he continued penciling more work for titles such as \u003cem\u003eGen13, Birds of Prey, Supergirl\u003c\/em\u003e (vol. 3), and \u003cem\u003eSuperman\u003c\/em\u003e (vol. 2).
