As well as \u003cem\u003eGood Housekeeping \u003c\/em\u003e-- believe it or not, this was a premier source for fiction and fine new artwork in the 1920s and 1930s in their heyday, as was the \u003cem\u003ePost\u003c\/em\u003e. So Curtis\/Novelty had money behind it...and very clear editorial opinions, often at odds with\u003cstrong\u003e Lloyd Jacquet's\u003c\/strong\u003e creators.
